Who is this Isa Idris?

Usually, our favorite media is supposed to be an escape from our mundane reality, but there will always be moments we miss when we leave. Coming from a background of a family embodying "The American Dream" with (South) Asian-characteristics, having a community focused on faith and extended-family is pretty sweet and people should experience the fruits of a regular family life. We should also aspire to grow and understand the needs of people, even if it seems foreign to us.

I hope my art reflects that, the nuances of Desi family life, the joys and pains growing up, and finding a path where you can find peace within those two worlds.
